Thinking skills was introduced to replace the General Ability section in the selective school exam. LYT Education teachers develop a holistic approach to thinking skills. We identify the strengths and weaknesses of students and develop a tailored program which addresses the question types which students find more challenging. We start off with detailed explanations on how to solve different question types, and follow it up with practice questions and mini competitions.

Our English tutoring program supports students from Year 7 to Year 12 by aligning with the NSW English syllabus, focusing on essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, and exam preparation (including the HSC). We tailor lessons to help students engage with literary texts, develop analytical, discursive and creative writing abilities, and enhance comprehension of themes, context, and textual forms.
